COVID 19- social distancing will be enforced on this hike, attendees must bring a face covering and hand sanitiser, you should not attend if you are displaying symptoms, you must inform GO London if you display any symptoms within 14 days of the event.

Hike the Seven Sisters “the finest coastal hike in England”

Starting in the pretty town of Seaford on the Sussex coast we hike along the seafront passing the Martello Tower before following the Vanguard way to Seaford Head.
with far-reaching views of the stunning white cliffs of the Severn Sisters and Beachy Head ending on the promenade of the seafront town of Eastbourne.
We undulate along the sea cliffs to drop down to the Cuckmere Estuary and wildlife reserve, lunching at the cafe and visitor centre.
Joining the South Downs Way and entering the Seven Sisters Country Park a steep climb leads to the trig point at Cliff End. From here we follow the cliff edge path over the famous Seven Sisters cliffs to Birling Gap. After Birling Gap there is a steady climb past Belle Tout a former lighthouse and onto the spectacular Beachy Head with possibly the finest views in Southern England.
Descending to the coast we walk the Victoria Promenade to the town.
From here you can either join us for a drink or take the train home.

MEETING TIME: To help with Social distancing This hike will meet at Seaford Station at 10.50. The best train to catch is the 9.24 train from London Victoria which arrives at Seaford at 10.48 this journey requires a change of trains at Lewes.

Walk Starts: 10:50 at Seaford Station

Walk finishes: Eastbourne Station around 6 pm.

COST: £8 payable on RSVP

Train tickets are not included, available on the day approx £19.85 .pp group saver.

GRADE: Intermediate/challenging, 22km, 14 miles, 670m ascent, on good paths with some steep hills. 6-1/2 hours hiking. Walk finishes around 6pm
