COVID 19- social distancing will be enforced on this hike, attendees must bring a face covering and hand sanitiser, you should not attend if you are displaying symptoms, you must inform GO London if you display any symptoms within 14 days of the event. Capacity of the walk will be strictly kept to 15 maximum.

Join us for a pleasant stroll in the ancient woodland of Surrey.

Level of Difficulty: Suitable for beginners, there are some steep hills, but we will take them slow.

We start our walk in Guildford and will meander along the River Wey, turning off into the beautiful Chantry Woods, after exploring the woods we’ll make our way up to the pretty St Martha’s Church, where we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch with amazing views of Surrey that stretch all the way to the South Downs.

Walk Details: 6.5 miles on footpaths with some steep hills, as this walk is suitable for beginners we’ll take the hills slow (the views will be worth the climb I promise). After This is a circular walk, we’ll head back to the town of Guildford where you can explore the town or join us for a bite to eat and drink in the pub.

Meeting point: 12.00 Outside Guildford Station. Due to Covid, we can not travel together and organise group tickets at this time. There is a train that leaves Waterloo at 11.30 am train that gets to Guildford at 12.00 Please purchase a return to Guildford ticket.

We should be returning to Guildford around 4:30.
