MEETING POINT: Meeting at St Pancras station outside the main ticket office.

We’ll take 9.25 train to Margate arriving at 10.59

COST: £21.65 each for a group of four travelling together (at the group saver rate), I cannot guarantee you will be in a group of 3 (individuals or non-groups of three will have to pay the full fare – roughly £30, you have been warned, so please arrive on time!). Plus organiser fee £8 (payment on sign up) total £27.65

Walk Details: About 15 km this is an easy walk on flat terrain (with a few steps up the cliffs) on good paths. About 6hrs walking time.

Starting our walk in Margate we will continue around the eastern corner of England. Through Kingsgate Bay where we’ll be able to view the beautiful Victorian Kingsgate Castle.

We’ll continue on then stop for lunch at the historic town of Broadstairs. Those that would like to will have time to visit the famous Morelli’s ice-cream parlour which has been in business since 1932.

We will continue along the coast finishing up at Ramsgate where we’ll have some fish & chips on the beach.

Approximate return to time London 6- 7pm.

What to bring: A good pair of comfy walking shoes or boots, snacks, lots of water. Rain jacket warm layers as it can get quite chilly on the coast.
